The Universal Power Platform

One battery. 1,600+ tools. 10 brands.

PDnation™ is a single 18V/20V battery that powers your whole shop — across DeWalt, Milwaukee, Makita, Bosch, Ryobi and more — with a $15.99 snap-on Brand Mount. And it's a 100W USB-C power bank, so the same pack runs tools and charges a laptop.

How one battery runs everything

1
Pick a PDnation battery

Pro 8.0Ah for max runtime, or Mini 4.0Ah for a lighter pack. Both use premium high-drain cells.

2
Snap on a Brand Mount

A $15.99 adapter for your tool brand clicks onto the pack — now it fits your tool exactly.

3
Run tools + charge devices

Power 1,600+ tools, and use the 100W USB-C port as a power bank for laptop, phone and lights.

Do the math

One pack runs every brand. Here's the math.

$79.99 already buys a 144 Wh / 100 W USB‑C power bank. From there, each brand you add costs just a $15.99 Brand Mount — not a $50–130 battery. Run two or more brands and one PDnation pack costs less than a battery for each — and it doubles as a power bank.

PDnation Pro + 3 Brand Mounts
$127.96
$79.99 power bank + 3 × $15.99 mount
  • Runs all 3 brands — 1,600+ tools
  • Also a 144 Wh / 100 W USB‑C power bank
  • One pack to charge & carry
For 3 brands, that's
≈ $232 less than a battery per brand
…and the same pack is a 144 Wh power bank — for far less than buying both.
One pack powers one tool at a time — swap the mount to change brands. Need several running at once? Add packs.

Just one brand? A dedicated replacement battery (from $45.99) is your cheapest pick — PDnation pays off from two brands, or when you want the power bank.

Comparison = buying a separate battery for each brand vs. one PDnation pack you carry between brands. OEM ~$120/brand is a typical 6–8 Ah retail average (varies by brand).

PDnation questions

What is the PDnation universal battery? +
PDnation is a universal 18V/20V power tool battery: one pack runs 1,600+ tools across 10 brands. The battery itself is universal — the brand-specific part is a $15.99 snap-on Brand Mount that adapts the pack to your tool's interface. It is built on premium high-drain cells and doubles as a 100W USB-C power bank, so the same battery powers your tools and charges a laptop or phone.
How does one battery work across so many brands? +
The pack is universal; only the snap-on Brand Mount changes. Attach the DeWalt Mount and it fits DeWalt 20V MAX tools; swap to the Milwaukee Mount and the same pack runs M18 tools. Each Brand Mount is $15.99, so building out to a second or third brand costs a fraction of buying separate OEM batteries for each ecosystem.
Which tool brands does PDnation work with? +
Ten brands: DeWalt, Milwaukee, Makita, Bosch, Ryobi, Black+Decker, Craftsman, Porter-Cable, Worx and Einhell — 1,600+ tools in total. Pick the Brand Mount that matches your tool on the Brand Mounts page.
Can PDnation really charge a laptop? +
Yes. The PDnation Pro 8.0Ah has a 100W bidirectional USB-C PD port: it charges a MacBook Pro 14" in about an hour, plus phones, tablets and jobsite lights — and it recharges the pack itself over USB-C. That makes it a tool battery and a 144Wh power bank in one.
What cells and specs does PDnation use? +
The PDnation Pro 8.0Ah uses premium high-drain cells for 144Wh of capacity, recharges fully in about 90 minutes, and is IEC 62133 / EN 62133 certified with a 3-year warranty. The Mini 4.0Ah uses the same premium high-drain cells cell pedigree in a lighter, compact body.
Pro 8.0Ah or Mini 4.0Ah — which should I get? +
Both reach the same 1,600+ tools and use the same Brand Mounts. Choose the Pro 8.0Ah for maximum runtime and the full 100W / 144Wh power bank; choose the Mini 4.0Ah for a lighter, more compact pack that travels well. Many owners keep one of each.
