FAQ

150W inverter questions

Which power tool batteries do the CEENR 150W inverters work with?

CEENR 150W inverters are offered for multiple 18V/20V battery interfaces. Each version clips onto one matching interface with no tools and no wiring. Choose from the published versions listed on this page; the product page identifies its interface and gives a verified battery-model list when available. Batteries are sold separately.

How do I choose the Bosch or Worx inverter version?

The Bosch version is made for the blue Bosch 18V battery interface. Each listed Worx version names its battery model code. Open the matching product page for its battery-interface details before ordering.

How long will the 150W inverter run on a 5.0Ah or 8.0Ah battery?

It depends on the battery and the load. A pack stores roughly its amp-hours × 18V in watt-hours, so a 5.0Ah pack holds about 90 Wh and an 8.0Ah pack about 144 Wh. The inverter uses some of that energy in conversion, so a steady load runs for somewhat less than the pack's watt-hours divided by the load's watts. When a pack runs flat, swap in a charged one.

What can a battery inverter keep running during a power outage?

The CEENR 150W inverter keeps small essentials running, as long as together they draw 150W or less: a Wi-Fi router or modem, an LED work light, a small fan, a laptop, and phone or camera chargers. It runs with no fuel on a matching tool battery. It is not a generator replacement for high-watt appliances such as space heaters, kettles, microwaves, coffee makers or hair dryers.

Can the CEENR 150W inverter run 230V or 240V appliances, or be used outside the US?

Not from the AC outlet. On every version, Makita 18V LXT and Bosch 18V included, the outlet is a standard US 120V / 60Hz socket, so it isn't suitable for 230V European or UK appliances. The USB-C and USB-A ports charge phones, tablets and many USB-C laptops anywhere.

Can a PDnation battery power the 150W inverter?

Yes, with a confirmed matching Brand Mount fitted. A PDnation™ battery on the Makita 18V LXT, Bosch 18V, Porter-Cable 20V MAX, North American Worx WA3520, DeWalt 20V MAX, Milwaukee M18, BLACK+DECKER 20V MAX or Craftsman V20 Brand Mount powers the CEENR 150W inverter for that same battery interface. To charge USB devices alone you don't need an inverter: a PDnation battery has its own two-way USB-C port, with no Brand Mount needed.
