Do Ryobi 18V batteries fit other brands?
No. Each tool brand uses its own battery footprint, contacts and latch, so a Ryobi 18V ONE+ battery, Ryobi's own or a CEENR replacement, fits 18V ONE+ tools and not other brands' tools. CEENR's cross-brand option is the PDnation™ Universal Power Platform: with the Ryobi 18V ONE+ Brand Mount, one PDnation battery runs the tools listed on that mount's page, and with another brand's mount, that brand's tools. A Brand Mount works only with a PDnation battery; it does not put a Ryobi battery on another brand's tool.
Are all Ryobi ONE+ batteries interchangeable?
Within the 18V ONE+ system, yes. Ryobi says its 18V ONE+ batteries are compatible with any 18V ONE+ product, and CEENR's 5.0Ah and 6.0Ah ONE+ batteries use the same interface. ONE+ HP tools run on them at standard ONE+ power; the extra HP performance needs Ryobi's HP batteries. Ryobi 40V, 80V, 12V and USB Lithium tools each use their own batteries.
Which size Ryobi 18V ONE+ battery should I get: 5.0Ah or 6.0Ah?
Both use the same 18V ONE+ interface and voltage; the higher capacity just runs longer between charges. The 6.0Ah is the best balance of runtime, weight and price for drills, drivers and impact tools, and the pick for outdoor tools such as string trimmers and blowers; the 5.0Ah is the lightest pack, for overhead work. Neither is listed for the few covered-bay tools Ryobi limits to packs up to 4.0Ah, such as the PMF01 misting fan and the P4500 and P4510 power scrubbers.
Can I charge a CEENR replacement battery on my Ryobi charger?
Yes, on a lithium-ion ONE+ charger. CEENR ONE+ batteries are lithium-ion, so charge them on a lithium-ion ONE+ charger such as Ryobi's dual-chemistry P117 or P118 or the PCG002. Ryobi's older Ni-Cd-only chargers, such as the P110, can't charge lithium packs.
What is the difference between a CEENR replacement battery and a PDnation battery for Ryobi tools?
A CEENR replacement battery is a drop-in pack for Ryobi 18V ONE+ tools; it has no USB port and charges on a lithium-ion ONE+ charger. A PDnation™ battery, from CEENR's Universal Power Platform, has two-way USB-C built in, so it is a power bank on its own and recharges over USB-C. With the Ryobi 18V ONE+ Brand Mount, a snap-on adapter sold separately, it runs the tools listed on that mount's page. A Brand Mount works only with a PDnation battery; it does not put another brand's battery on a Ryobi tool.
