Charger questions
Will the CEENR 6A fast charger charge my DeWalt, Milwaukee or Craftsman batteries?
Yes. Each CEENR 6A fast charger charges the tool maker's own slide batteries for its platform as well as CEENR replacement batteries, with no adapter. The DeWalt 20V MAX version charges packs such as the DCB200, DCB203, DCB204, DCB205 and DCB206; the Milwaukee M18 version the 48-11-1820, 48-11-1840, 48-11-1850 and 48-11-1860; and the Craftsman V20 version the CMCB201, CMCB202, CMCB204, CMCB205 and CMCB206.
How long does the CEENR 6A fast charger take to charge a battery?
At 6A, a 6.0Ah pack is ready in roughly an hour, and smaller packs such as a 5.0Ah finish sooner. The charger takes packs from 1.5Ah to 8.0Ah. Its LCD shows the battery's percentage, voltage and charge current while it charges, and it stops at full charge to protect the pack.
Which battery sizes and models does the 6A charger take?
It takes slide batteries from 1.5Ah to 8.0Ah on the platform it is built for: 1.5Ah, 2.0Ah, 4.0Ah, 5.0Ah, 6.0Ah and 8.0Ah packs all charge on the same dock. A few models aren't listed because the charger is specced for 1.5–8.0Ah packs: the DeWalt DCB207 and DCB185, the Porter-Cable PCC681L and the Bosch BAT609. The Bosch version charges blue Bosch 18V packs, not green POWER FOR ALL, and the Worx version charges North American PowerShare packs only.
Is there a universal charger that works with every power tool brand?
Not in the CEENR lineup. Each CEENR 6A fast charger is built for one battery platform, so pick the version that matches your batteries: DeWalt 20V MAX, Milwaukee M18, Makita 18V LXT, Bosch 18V, BLACK+DECKER 20V MAX, Craftsman V20, Porter-Cable 20V MAX or Worx 20V PowerShare. For several tool brands, CEENR's cross-brand option is the PDnation™ Universal Power Platform: a PDnation battery runs each brand's tools through that brand's Brand Mount and recharges over its own USB-C port, with no tool-brand charger.
Does fast charging at 6A shorten battery life?
Charging conditions matter: let a hot pack cool before charging and use a charger listed for the battery. The CEENR CC507 6A charger stops charging if the battery is abnormal or overheats, and when charging is complete.
Can I charge a CEENR replacement battery on the charger that came with my tools?
Yes. CEENR replacement batteries for DeWalt, Milwaukee, Makita, Ryobi, Craftsman, BLACK+DECKER, Porter-Cable and Worx charge on that platform's own lithium-ion chargers, with no adapter. For Bosch 18V, charge CEENR packs on the CEENR 6A fast charger for Bosch 18V; they also seat on blue Bosch 18V chargers such as the GAL18V-40 and BC1880, though Bosch's charger manuals approve only Bosch and AMPShare packs.
What is the difference between the 6A fast charger and the USB-C charger adapter?
The 6A fast charger plugs into the wall and charges the tool battery: a 6.0Ah pack is ready in roughly an hour. Its 100W USB-C port and USB-A port also charge a laptop, tablet or phone straight from the wall. The 45W USB-C power adapter, sold as the USB-C Charger Adapter, works the other way: it clips onto the battery to charge phones, tablets and USB-C laptops from the pack, and it can refill the pack from any USB-C PD charger.
