This battery fits the Worx 20V PowerShare tools (North American models with the WA3520-style battery rail — 40V and 80V PowerShare tools run on two or four 20V packs), except the WX097L misting fan, whose battery compartment WORX lists only packs up to 2Ah for, and 22 tools with a covered or sealed battery bay or a WORX 8.0Ah compartment warning (16 mowers plus the WX876L, WG471, WG572, WG830, WG855 and WX031L) that we don't list the taller 8.0Ah pack for: WORX says even its own 8.0Ah pack is too large for some battery compartments, such as the WG744 mower's. Each of the 143 models listed here is checked against WORX's official product pages, manuals and support center.
North American Worx models only: WORX says its European, UK and Australian PowerShare batteries differ from the US ones and won't physically connect, so EU-market tools (model codes ending in E, e.g. WG163E) aren't listed. Also not for Landroid robotic mowers, Worx-powered e-bikes and e-scooters, the older 40V Share Volt tools, which take 40V MaxLithium packs (WA3536/WA3580), or Worx 18V NiCd, 24V, 32V, 36V, 48V and 56V tools.

For mowers, other tools that close a cover over the battery and the 80V Base Camp tools, use the CEENR 5.0 or 6.0Ah and make sure the cover closes over the pack — WORX says even its own 8.0Ah pack is too large for some compartments. It does not fit European, UK or Australian Worx tools, which WORX builds around a different battery interface. No adapter required.

Under the U.S. Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act, a tool maker generally can't make warranty coverage conditional on using its own brand of battery, but it can decline a repair for damage a third-party battery caused, and some tool warranties exclude damage from incompatible parts or accessories.
