The adapter isn't for the CEENR 150W inverters, which clip straight onto a single brand's battery, and it is not a tool adapter either.

How do I install and remove it?

To take it out, press the battery release button and slide the pack out, then press the adapter release button and pull the adapter out. Disconnect the batteries when the inverter is not in use or during transport.
